Andante, whose real name is Adolfo Bustamante, is an American musician, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Houston, Texas, currently based in Denton, Texas. A student at the University of North Texas, he has been drawn to music from an early age and began seriously pursuing it at 15.
Andante is a music project led by Adolfo Bustamante, blending bedroom pop, alternative R&B, ambient electronic production, and Latin-inspired sounds into a genre-fluid style. Built around layered synths, live instruments, sound design, experimental production techniques, and various vocal collaborations, the project focuses on creating music that feels both intentional and fluid.
Largely self-taught, Andante developed his sound through digital audio workstations, which remain central to his creative process. A longtime saxophone player and multi-instrumentalist, Adolfo combines live instrumentation with talented singers, using Logic Pro to create songs with rich sonic variety.
In addition to creating music, he independently brings his projects to life through physical formats such as vinyl, CDs, and cassettes. He is also the founder of A-Melodic Music, an independent label under which he releases his work.
As he continues to develop his craft, Andante aims to expand his sound and establish his place in the music world.
